i live in the busy northeast U.S. and I can't consider an EV to own. These are best used in hotter dry southern state environments. My lifestyle consists of driving cross-country with out the worry of fueling and break-downs to new car engines.

We have a 2002 Cheney suburban with over 200,000 on it. The only problem we e er had with it was getting the fuel pump fixed. Still running good. We just don’t drive it much now because of the price of gas.

About 2 years ago I wanted to buy a Land Rover discovery.. so I took a 2021 HSE with 19,000 miles to my mechanic for a PPI and he found more issues than any other vehicle he had ever inspected. So he said to me..if you want to buy any Range Rover, you better buy 2 so while one is always at the shop, you can drive the other one...the deal was off. I end up buying a Lexus rx350.

How do you get rid of a lease within a year of ownership? Asking for myself. Wouldn’t it be very costly? I rolled in a pretty hefty amount of negative equity into the lease so likely I’m stuck 😢 I already know this was very dumb but I’m here now.
